STAFF VACANCY

St. Joseph’s College of Education (JOSCO) is a public College of Education, established under Catholic Management. The College, located in Bechem, Ahafo Region - Ghana, offers an enabling environment conducive for teaching, learning, research, faculty development, and academic success. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for appointment into the following areas:


A. TEACHING AREA

  • 1. RELIGIOUS AND MORAL EDUCATION
LECTURER QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Must possess a Ph.D. in the relevant area of specialization.
  • Must have at least three years teaching experience at the tertiary institution.
  • Must have at least three publications in reputal journals.
  • Teacher Education Certificate or PGDE is compulsory.

B. NON-TEACHING AREA

  • 1. JUNIOR ASSISTANT REGISTRAR
    • Must have a Masters Degree in Administration and Management related areas
    • Must have served as an Administrative Assistant for at least 4 years
    • Must be a computer literate and good in MS-Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc
  • 2. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
    • Must have a Barchelors Degree or HND in Management or Administration.
    • Must have served as an Administrative Assistant for at least 3years
    • Must be a computer literate and good in MS-Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
  • 3. ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT/INTERNAL AUDITOR
    • Must have a Masters Degree in Accounting and other related areas.
    • Must have served as an Acounts Officer for at least 4 years.
    • Must be a computer literate and good in MS-Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
  • 4. WORKS AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
    • Must have a Masters Degree in Civil Engeneering, Building Technology/ Construction Management and other related areas
    • Must have served as a Works Officer for at least 4 years.
    • Must be a computer literate and good in MS-Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
